The Charlie Project - Collecting Backpacks, Jackets, Blankets, and more for homeless veterans and people experiencing homelessness.
This holiday season we will be collecting backpacks, jackets, blankets, hygiene items, and more to give to people experiencing homelessness, with a focus on veterans who live on the street during the cold winter months. We are starting collecting on Monday, December 9th and will have drop off locations throughout the Valley through January 20th. We will deliver all items to the PHX350 program at the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA, the MANA House for homeless veterans, and Andre House serving people experiencing homelessness on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Jan. 21) as a day of service project. Backpacks will be filled with blankets and distributed to people living on the streets.

In honor of Charles "Charlie" Conrad, a Marine and Navy Vietnam Veteran, Missou Track Star Athlete, and Incredible Father and Grandfather (Papa). He volunteered working with homeless veterans and we are honoring his memory by helping Veterans and anyone experiencing homelessness.
